HAPPY PASSOVER!
Many of us are preparing for our 2021 Passover Seders with a virtual twist to protect our loved ones. The Federation’s Young Bluegrass Jews (YBJ) group developed a virtual seder and have decided to make it available to the whole community!
A note about our Seder program
The virtual Haggadah for our seder, presented as a PowerPoint that can be shared on your screen with participants during your virtual seder, is very non-traditional. We developed this with the understanding that YBJ members come from very different backgrounds and practices, and we wanted to make it as accessible and easy to understand as possible. Additionally, we adjusted the seder so that most of the parts are completed before the meal, in case anyone cannot stay on the virtual session (Zoom or other platform) for very long. There is also no hiding of the afikomen in our Haggadah, as many of the YBJ members were observing Passover alone.
The files below are meant to be easy for you to access and review. The virtual seder is set up as a PowerPoint document, but it is also available as a PDF. Feel free to edit the PowerPoint to work well for your seder and your practices. However, we ask that you please keep the title slides to give proper credit where it is due!
We have also created a suggested grocery list which will help you in your shopping and preparations.
