Earthquake Relief in Turkey and Syria
Following 2 deadly earthquakes, 150,000 people in Turkey & Syria are without shelter in the bitter cold. Alongside our partners, Jewish Federations are focused on providing tents, heaters, thermal clothing, ready-to-eat meals & first aid kits. But we need your help.
Donations are accepted here and are used solely for local families coming from Ukraine and other Countries undergoing conflict.
Hurricane Ian Relief Efforts
Hurricane Ian has plunged much of Florida into darkness, cutting off water to millions. Hundreds of thousands of people have been displaced or stranded. Jewish communities & others need critical shelter and aid ... and it’s only just begun. Please give generously.
Eastern Kentucky Flood Relief
Communities in Eastern Kentucky have experienced severe flooding resulting in the loss of life of our fellow Kentuckians.
Afghan Family Jewish Community Co-Sponsorhip
In a beautiful display of like-minded thinking and partnership, Jewish Federation of the Bluegrass, Ohavay Zion Synagogue, and Temple Adath Israel all individually decided on the same day to co-sponsor an Afghan family resettling in Fayette County.
The future of the Jewish Federation of the Bluegrass is bright, and with your generous support we will continue to be relevant, inclusive, sustainable, strong, and unified. The time is now to keep Moving Federation Forward. In the coming year, we’ll work together to build a Jewish Lexington we know you’ll be proud of. We’ll support those who are struggling in the face of adversity, reach into the broader community to share our values and create opportunities for growth, and ignite passion within the Jewish community that will engage and inspire young Jewish Lexingtonians for years to come. If you have any additional questions about the Annual Campaign or other ways you can get involved, contact the JFB office at 859-268-0672.
