Plan on joining us at one of our upcoming events.
Annual Community Winter Dinner
Join us at Tandoor Indian Cuisine (3130 Mapleleaf Drive #112) for a community celebration and delicious vegetarian buffet (or kid-friendly dairy menu, if your child prefers, at a reduced price). Children 12 and under are $5, adults 13 and up $20. JFB's Winter Dinner is always a popular event so we recommend sending your RSVP as early as possible. Make your reservation online now or contact the Federation office for more information at (859) 268-0672. We look forward to seeing you there!
Will you be volunteering again this year?
'Tis the Tzeason of Tzedakah, a wonderful opportunity to share warmth and support for our Lexington neighbors, to give regular volunteers and staff at local service agencies a chance to re-energize by spending time with their families.
Do your part this year, your "Tzeason" mitzvah (or mitzvot) and sign up for one of the volunteer opportunities coordinated this month. Bring friends and family, have a great time helping others, and consider doing more throughout the year.
Through the values of tikkun olam (repairing the world) and tzedakah (charity and social justice), our Federation community can make a difference in the lives of those close to us.See what volunteer opportunities are available and see a complete list of requested donations.
Lunch and Learn with our Local Rabbis
Last Tuesday of each month
Please join us on Tuesday, January 28 for a Lunch and Learn with Rabbi Marc Kline at 12 noon in the Jewish Federation office. The topic will be announced closer to the date of the program. The cost for lunch is $5.00. RSVP to Judy at (859) 268-0672 or email@example.com so that we can order food appropriately. The Rabbis’ Lunch and Learn programs provide a wonderful means of getting to know our community’s rabbis in an intimate setting.
There is no Lunch and Learn with our Local Rabbis in December.
