Ways to Give

Our Mission

The mission of the Jewish Federation of the Bluegrass is to serve the Jewish people and its ideals locally, in Israel and throughout the world. Through coordinated fundraising, community-wide programming, social services, educational and other activities, the Federation seeks to:
1. Build community
2. Provide assistance for those in need
3. Enhance Jewish identity
4. Develop effective Jewish leaders
5. Combat anti-Semitism and other forms of discrimination
6. Foster an understanding of Jewish culture and religion.

GIVE

Every gift makes a difference.
It makes a difference in our neighborhoods, in far-off communities around the world, and it makes a difference for the people of Israel.

It provides connection and comfort for the homebound and sick in our own Lexington community, and emergency funds for those in need during this economic crisis.

It helps our children attend programs like Birthright Israel and Camp Shalom that inspire a life-long love of Israel and Jewish culture.

The impact is real. It is tangible. And it changes life for the better.

It's what being Jewish feels like.
A donation to the JFB Community Campaign is also a gift you give yourself. It’s a gift to your family and your friends.

It’s a promise that Jewish social services and vibrant community connections will remain strong and active for all of us. And for you.

It’s an opportunity to be part of a caring community that gives back, and  fosters and celebrates Jewish identity, laying a foundation for future generations.

Now is the time to get involved. Now is the time to donate. Now is the time to volunteer. Take this opportunity to make a gift to the Jewish Federation of the Bluegrass Community Campaign and you’ll see.

Whatever being Jewish means to you, repairing the world and building community is something we can all celebrate. It's what being Jewish feels like. And it’s a feeling like no other.
